Who is responsible
TaiOne is operated by S.I.T. TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD (喜德科技有限公司), 9F, No. 3-2, Park St., Taipei City 115010, Taiwan. Contact hello@gotaione.com for privacy questions or requests. This notice covers the TaiOne apps, customer website and staff platform.
Information and purposes
We process account names, email addresses, password hashes, verification/recovery records and sessions to provide and protect accounts. Delivery addresses help prepare quotes. Favorites, shopping lists, product links, preferences, messages, selected photos, voice notes, quotes and unpaid order records help the Taiwan team respond to requests. Service/security logs and transactional email delivery records support reliable operation and abuse prevention. Payments are unavailable; do not put payment details into requests.
Optional features and permissions
Browsing and a local shopping list do not require an account. An email-verified account is needed for team requests and synced favorites. Photos, camera use, voice recordings and live AI discovery are optional; text requests remain available. Camera, photo and microphone access are controlled by device permissions. Uploaded photos and voice notes are accessible to authorized staff and are not automatically analyzed or transcribed by AI.
Optional AI discovery
Before each optional live AI search, TaiOne asks permission to send the current search text and up to four previous queries to OpenAI for product discovery. The request does not automatically include your profile, delivery address, private messages or uploaded media. Information you type into a query is included, so avoid personal and payment information. Cancelling sends no AI search. Catalog browsing and direct team requests remain available without AI permission. Search results and seller prices require team verification.
Who receives information
Authorized staff access information needed for their work. TaiOne uses DigitalOcean for hosting/storage, Resend for transactional email, and OpenAI for searches you permit. Information may be processed in Taiwan, the United States and the locations where these providers operate. Product images may load from seller websites; opening source links connects to those sites, which may receive your IP address and apply their own policies. TaiOne does not sell account/shopping data or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking. Information may be disclosed when legally required or to address fraud, disputes or security incidents.
Storage and security
Website sessions use a sign-in cookie; native session credentials use secure device storage. Local draft lists and sample data remain separate from connected account records. Transport uses HTTPS and uploaded request files require authenticated access.
Retention and deletion
Account and request data remains while the account exists; there is no automatic inactive-account expiry. Account deletion removes the account, sessions, associated request records and uploaded request files. Open unpaid orders must be resolved first. Closed order snapshots and payment/audit history can remain; the order address field is redacted, but historical snapshots can still contain details. Backups, operational logs and support mail currently have no automatic age-based expiry. Deletion therefore does not automatically erase every historical record or backup. Your choices and rights
You can request access, a copy, correction, deletion or cessation of collection/processing/use, subject to applicable law, using the contact above. You can revoke optional device permissions, sign out and change account details. Changes to a current address do not rewrite historical quote/order snapshots. We will update this notice when practices change and provide any required notice before new uses.
